QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What are the venue requirements for renting the butterfly drones?
Butterfly drones are designed for indoor use only. The venue should have a minimum clear ceiling height of approximately 4 to 5 meters (13 to 16 feet) and an unobstructed flight area of at least 10 meters (33 feet) long by 10 meters (33 feet) wide. This space is necessary to allow the butterfly drones to fly safely and perform properly.
How many flights can a butterfly drone perform, and how long does each flight last?
A butterfly drone typically flies for about 4 to 5 minutes. After each flight, it is advisable to wait 15 to 20 minutes to allow the motor to cool properly.
I bought my butterfly drone, but it is not flying properly. Why?
Butterfly drones were launched in 2023 following a university project in China. Since then, many generations and copies have emerged, with very inconsistent quality. Some models, especially earlier versions or imitations, may have flight issues or limited performance. In our experience, it is important to carefully review the model, generation, and supplier before buying, to reduce the risk of performance problems.
Where can I buy butterfly drones?
We have purchased butterfly drones from several manufacturers. So far, only one option has been satisfactory for us. Our recommendation is based solely on our own user experience. We are not distributors or manufacturers, nor do we have any commercial relationship with this brand.
